The OEP is a section of the Georgia Tech Police Department (GTPD). We serve the entire Atlanta campus, and also work closely with GT-Lorraine and the study abroad programs, to ensure the safety of all students, faculty, staff and visitors at Georgia Tech.

The OEP is responsible for preparing the Georgia Tech community to respond to, recover from and mitigate all hazards. The Emergency Preparedness office is also responsible for GTPD Communications.
